The fabrics of Sabu, with their warm, earthy colors, have long appealed to western sensibilities. Like Rotinese weavings, the geometric forms are generally large and bold, but not without intricacy.
This piece is a section of a large selimut, of particularly fine weave and detail, which may be used as a sarung, wrap, or blanket.
