Madura
Madura is famed in Indonesia on many accounts. Jokingly referred to as "The Salt Island," Madura does have a prominent salt production industry on its glassy coasts, protected from the Indian and Pacific oceans within the Java Sea. Madura is also known for its fine tobacco, strongwilled people, and devotion to Islam. I hope you enjoy your glimpse of life on this beautiful island and its people.
